Greetings from Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool! Early registration for preschool classes will begin on February 1, 2010. This early registration time is open for all current preschool and K-8 families of Prince of Peace and also association church members. For more information, please call Carol Copeland at 230-9116. Registration forms will be available at each association church office and also at Prince of Peace Lutheran School. Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool partners with parents to aid each child in becoming all God intends for them to be.

    K-8 RE-ENROLLMENT & NEW KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATIONS

Parents, please keep in mind that the re-enrollment forms are due back to the POP Office by February 16 along with the $200 registration fee which will secure your child’s spot for the coming school year. That day, February 16, open enrollment begins to the public. Remember, too, that only one registration fee per family is due at that time. Attaching a $200 registration fee secures the classroom “spot” for all children noted on the form with the fee(s) due for any remaining students by June 1st. The registration fee goes to $250 per student after February 16th, so be sure you are locked into that $200 rate! Kindergarten registrations are underway at this time as well with spots remaining at this writing.

Hearts on Fire Dinner and Auction

The 2010 Hearts on Fire Dinner and Auction for Prince of Peace Lutheran School will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2010 beginning at 11:30 am at St. Cloud’s Holiday Inn. A letter from the Committee with details about classroom projects and classroom baskets will be emailed within a day or so of this newsletter. In preparation for making these baskets, we’re asking for donations of good, large sized baskets which would be appropriate for classroom (and other) baskets which will be filled with goodies for the silent auction.

Please be thinking of donations for the silent and live auction. We NEED handcrafted and purchased new items as well as antiques in good condition or collectibles in like new condition. This is always a fun and exciting event and we THANK YOU for your continuing support and enthusiasm for our school!

TELL A FRIEND ABOUT PRINCE OF PEACE

Please take the time to tell your friends and acquaintances about Prince of Peace. Our school is a very special place where students get to learn from qualified, Christian, caring teachers and staff. They experience the opportunity to grow socially, physically, academically, emotionally and spiritually. You know this. That's why your child is here. So, please tell others about how special we are. If they enroll and stay, your family can experience a tuition reduction for recommending them.
