KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION/REGISTRATION NIGHT

Thursday, January 19, 2012 will be our annual Kindergarten Information/Registration night for children who will be five years old by September 1, 2012. We’ll begin at 6:30 pm, ending about 8:00 pm. Potential Kindergarten children are encouraged to attend with their parents. Children are supervised in the Kindergarten room while parents learn about our Kindergarten program and other details about Prince of Peace in our school’s Lunchroom. Registration opens that evening for our 2012 - 2013 class. If you know anyone with a child this age, be sure to tell them about this important night. The class fills quickly, so don’t miss out. There is no other time all year when this information is so thoroughly covered.

HEARTS ON FIRE SILENT AUCTION AND DINNER

Hearts on Fire Silent Auction & Dinner will be held Sunday, April 15th at the 400 Club. The Silent Auction begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by Dinner at 1:15p.m. There will also be a Live Auction and more fun to follow!

MARATHON for Non-Public Education

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL PARENTS Our annual Walk-a-Thon (Marathon) for Non-Public Education is Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Whitney Park in St. Cloud. The marathon will be a major fundraiser for our school this year. The money raised will be used to provide numerous items that will benefit our students and staff. Some items include:

1/3 of funds will be used for a new ballfield

1/3 of funds will be used for school furnishings

1/3 of funds will be used towards scholarship fund

All pledges need to be collected before the marathon and turned in to the school office. Anything turned in after that will be gratefully accepted, but cannot count toward prices.

Please remember that 100% of all money collected is tax deductible. We are asking that each student collect at least $100.00 in pledges for this marathon. There are more prizes available this year than ever before! In addition, our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will award some great prizes for participating in this Marathon as well. If you have any questions, please contact the school office. MANY THANKS to all STUDENTS and PARENTS for helping Prince of Peace raise these dollars!

Open House

You are all invited to attend an Open House Event for our school on Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please invite your family and friends to view our school that day as well. We’re thrilled with the results of our upstairs completion and our new front entrance changes. Under God’s great provision, we accomplished a great deal this summer. Praise the Lord!
