1st Grade
Prince of Peace Lutheran School is a school of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). In keeping with the purpose and philosophy of our school, all subjects are taught in the light of God's Word. Every child takes part in daily devotions, chapel services, evangelism, and other religious projects. Prince of Peace Lutheran School offers those subjects commonly taught at the kindergarten, elementary, and middle school levels with the addition of a religion curriculum prepared for LCMS elementary schools.
Children learn from repetition. Repeating the same message of Jesus' love for us each and every day (not just on Sunday) is very important in a child's life. Students of Prince of Peace read Bible stories and learn their lessons, participate every Wednesday morning in a Chapel service, and are encouraged to pray and talk about Jesus!
We will try to accommodate all students interested in attending Prince of Peace Lutheran School and each school year we will re-evaluate our situation to best meet everyone's needs; however, our underlying goal is to not exceed a maximum of 20 students per class.
CLASSROOM CORNER - First Grade
Greetings once again from the fabulous First Graders! A special time of year has begun for all of us. During the month of November, we take the time to show our thanks to others. We want to share our "thanks" with all of our dedicated parents!
Our strength comes from the Lord to help us in all we do. We have been learning all about our communities and the important leaders in our country. God has called us to be leaders as well. Our stories in Religion have reminded us that God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things. We look forward to "strengthening" our minds and hearts as we continue to trust in God!

CLASSROOM CORNER - First Grade
Blessings from the First Grade Classroom! What an amazing first few weeks of school it has been. We are already hard at work. This week's Religion stories focus on the First Sin and The Flood. In Math we continue learning our number words and now know zero to twelve.
Families, our unit in Social Studies, has allowed us to see how unique and special we all are. In Science we are learning all about the creatures God created. Next week we look forward to seeing some of these animals at the Amaze'n Farmyard in Eden Valley.
