4th & 5th Grade

Prince of Peace Lutheran School is a school of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). In keeping with the purpose and philosophy of our school, all subjects are taught in the light of God's Word. Every child takes part in daily devotions, chapel services, evangelism, and other religious projects. Prince of Peace Lutheran School offers those subjects commonly taught at the kindergarten, elementary, and middle school levels with the addition of a religion curriculum prepared for LCMS elementary schools.

Children learn from repetition. Repeating the same message of Jesus' love for us each and every day (not just on Sunday) is very important in a child's life. Students of Prince of Peace read Bible stories and learn their lessons, participate every Wednesday morning in a Chapel service, and are encouraged to pray and talk about Jesus!

We will try to accommodate all students interested in attending Prince of Peace Lutheran School and each school year we will re-evaluate our situation to best meet everyone's needs; however, our underlying goal is to not exceed a maximum of 20 students per class.

CLASSROOM CORNER - Fourth & Fifth Grade

Blessings from the fantastic Fourth and Fifth Graders! The 14 fabulous students I have been blessed to teach this year are working very hard! Some of their studies include focusing on God's Word and its relevance in their lives today. We are also memorizing the Books of the Bible and selected words from Scripture at this time.

In Math, the 5th Graders are working double and triple digit multiplication overtime, while the 4th Graders are busy with adding and subtracting with regrouping.

In Social, the 5th Grade is studying Native American Indians of the Southwest, Plains and Woodlands. The 4th Graders are learning the various regions of the USA. They just finished up the Southwest Region and will start the Southeast Region this week.
