CLASSROOM CORNER - MUSIC

Greetings from upstairs in the music room! The students and I are getting back into a somewhat “normal” routine after a very busy November & December. The 4th - 8th graders are busy preparing to ring chimes at Redeemer THIS Sunday, January 22nd at the 9:00 service. This week, the K - 3rd graders will begin working on their songs for singing at Trinity on February 5th at the 10:30 service. The 3rd graders also played “Shine, Jesus, Shine” on the bell sets for their class-led chapel service this week—hope you were able to see them :) Last week, the K-3 enjoyed watching their Christmas program DVD in the music room, which included popcorn too! This week, the 4 – 8 grade classes will get to watch their Christmas musical DVD—complete with popcorn, as well! Once again, a HUGE thank you to the students and teachers for all their hard work and patience as we practiced, practiced and practiced some more for the Christmas program and musical. I am beyond blessed to be able to work with these amazing wonderful kids and co-workers! May this New Year be filled with much happiness and joy for all of you!

Autumn greetings from the music room!

I cannot believe that we’re already in the midst of preparing for our Christmas program and musical! The time has flown by since school began. As you already read in a separate e-mail, there will be 2 different Christmas programs this year. Our school keeps growing and growing and we continue to see changes being made along with that growth. What a tremendous blessing to have all of these wonderful students attending Prince of Peace!
