PTO GATHERING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 25, 2008

  • National Lutheran School Update - mentioned some of the week's activities and teacher recognition
  • PTO Funds Distributions - approximately $1000 of fundraising money will be distributed in equal parts to Teacher Requests for additional teaching tools; a dedicated account for the future flagpole and another dedicated account for future replacing of the lunchroom tables/chairs.
  • 2008/2009 PTO Officers - looking for nominations and elections will be held at our April 14th Gathering. We are considering ways to increase gathering attendance.
  • Donuts with Dad - Wednesday, April 16th before school begins, watch for postings.
  • Door Prize Giveaway - $10 Bakers Square Gift Card and Daily Praying Parent Calendar went to Wendy Franzwa. Congratulations Wendy!!
  • Resurrection Egg Kits Assembly - We made 72 kits to be handed out to each of the K-8 POP Families on Friday, February 29th.
  • Gathering was opened and closed in prayer by Deb Summers.

With your support, our PTO can make a significant difference in the lives of the children who attend Prince of Peace Lutheran School! PTO has many ideas about items to purchase which will enhance and enrich the educational experience of our children.

Fellowship Nights are held in the school lunchroom at 7:00 pm and are scheduled for:

Monday, January 7th
Monday, February 25th
Monday, April 14th

Please join us for a fun evening and to not only stay informed about activities; but also help make them a success. We all share in our wonderful school and make it the best it can be together. "Working Together...Building Together."
