Volunteer Opportunities
PARENT VOLUNTEER HOURS
One of the great strengths of our school is the involvement of you as parents in the lives of your own children and the time you take to give back to our school by way of volunteer time. When parents volunteer time to their school, it allows teachers to concentrate on planning and preparation and not have to concern themselves with fundraising, parties or other non-academic business.
There are several volunteer opportunities for POP parents to get involved with their child's school, to keep tuition costs down, and to enrich our educational program by lending a helping hand. These include:
Hot Lunch Server
Lunchroom Monitor
Annual Hog Roast
Book Fair Assistant
Annual Hearts on Fire Dinner/Auction
End of Year Event
Counting Box Tops, food labels, and milk caps
Spring Musical
Christmas Program
Sporting Events/Coaching
Share a talent/hobby/occupation for Mini Course Day
Various Office Help
Special Events
Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO)

We have many parents here at POP that do things without being asked. They just see a task that needs done and they do it!
